Putting our love for Christ into action, we prioritize the importance of reaching out and helping others within our community. The Turning Pointe's Outreach Ministry Program offers several ways to share the love of Christ with people in need. Sharing Christ's love can serve as a blessing to each of us, and to the community as well. We invite you to join us in reaching out to others.
Below is a list of agencies we serve and support. For additional information or to find out how you can join one of our service teams, please contact Katy Dunigan, TTP's Director of Adult Ministries, at:

West Side Food Pantry There continues to be a tremendous need for food assistance in our community. An opportunity to give non-perishable items and money is given on the second weekend of each month. In addition TTP provides 4 volunteers to work at the food pantry on the third Friday of each month.
Mt. Vernon Food Pantry We also provide support for the Mt. Vernon Food Pantry. Service opportunities are available occasionally at this location as well as the West Side Food Pantry. As always, food items or monetary donations are welcome.
United Caring Shelter Together we can bring the homeless all the way home. United Caring Shelter has been delivering basic services to the homeless in Evansville for more than ten years. Every month on the third Saturday a team of volunteers from TTP prepare and serve a hot meal at the shelter.
United Methodist Youth Home Established in 1979, the United Methodist Youth Home, located on Burkhardt Road in Evansville is a faith-based organization that serves abused, troubled and neglected young people. UMYH provides assistance to youth that might be overlooked or even forgotten without their services. TTP has been involved with the youth home by helping with painting, landscaping, sponsoring out-of-town youth groups who come to work at UMYH, collecting school supplies and teaching the girls how to cook.
Jacob's Village A partner in life's journey, Jacob's Village is dedicated to enriching the lives of adults with developmental disabilities. TTP volunteers can spend one-on-one time with residents, help with fundraisers, help in the office or help with landscaping and maintaining of the 132 acres.
